Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a master of their craft with a strong ability to diagnose complex issues and perform high-quality repairs and maintenance on residential and/or commercial systems.
This role requires a minimum of 3 years of field experience, a valid EPA certification, and a professional demeanor. You will be a key representative of our company, responsible for providing exceptional service and solutions to our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to inspect and troubleshoot HVAC systems.
- Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment.
- Perform skilled, timely repairs, replacing parts as necessary.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance and system tune-ups.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, explaining diagnoses, repair options, and costs.
- Prepare detailed, accurate work orders and service documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service vehicle.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and EPA regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of professional, hands-on HVAC service experience.
- Certification: Valid EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal) is required.
- Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
- Professionalism: Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Work Ethic: Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Preferred (Not Required):
- NATE Certification.
- Completion of an HVAC trade school or apprenticeship program.
- Experience with boilers, geothermal, or high velocity systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
