Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and collision damage restoration using advanced techniques.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, MIG welding, soldering equipment, and airless paint sprayers to execute repairs efficiently and accurately.
  • Fabricate and shape sheet metal components to match vehicle specifications, ensuring seamless integration with existing structures.
  • Conduct auto painting and auto glass replacement with attention to detail, delivering a flawless finish that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as alignment checks, mechanical repairs, and auto restoration projects to restore vehicles to optimal condition.
  • Use auto estimating software to assess damages accurately and communicate repair scopes clearly to customers.
  • Assist with detailing, assembly, heavy lifting, and other tasks necessary for complete vehicle turnaround.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role within a dealership or automotive repair shop.
  • Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques, sheet metal work, auto painting, auto glass installation, and welding (including MIG welding).
  • Familiarity with fabrication processes, soldering techniques, and the use of various hand tools and power tools.
  • Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems for diagnostics and repairs related to collision damage or general vehicle maintenance.
  • Experience with auto estimating software and customer service skills for effective communication with clients.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
  • Certification or training in auto restoration or advanced welding is a plus; dealership experience is highly valued. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
