Paws for A Cause Vet Care is expanding and we're looking for a skilled Certified Veterinary Technician to join our growing medical team If you're passionate about affordable, high-quality veterinary care and want to make a real community impact, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

• Assist in HQHVSN surgery, including prep, anesthesia, recovery & flow efficiency
• Support veterinarians in general practice exams, vaccine appointments, and chronic care
• Perform dental radiographs, scaling, and charting
• Support advanced surgeries (orthopedic, emergency soft tissue, specialty procedures)
• Provide top-tier patient monitoring, client communication, and compassionate care
• Work alongside a mission-driven team focused on access-to-care & excellence

What We're Looking For

• Illinois CVT license (required)
• Experience in HQHVSN or high-volume settings preferred
• Strong anesthesia and surgery skills
• A calm, confident technician who thrives in various clinical settings
• Team-oriented, compassionate, and excited about helping pets and their families

Pay: $ $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
