Nurse Practitioner

NutriHealth is a premier outpatient private practice dedicated to science-based weight management. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our expanding multidisciplinary team and help us transform lives through personalized, comprehensive obesity treatment.

Role and Scope

The NP will be integral to delivering our integrated care model, which encompasses nutrition, fitness, behavior therapy, and pharmacotherapy. Key responsibilities include:

• Treatment Planning & Pharmacotherapy: Develop comprehensive patient treatment plans. Prescribe and manage weight loss medications, monitoring patient response and adjusting dosages as necessary.
• Behavioral Health Support: Implement targeted behavior therapy techniques to address emotional and behavioral barriers to weight loss, providing continuous support and guidance.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with dietitians to ensure nutrition plans and healthy eating habits are personalized and supported. Collaborate with the team to integrate fitness and exercise recommendations, setting achievable goals and tracking patient progress.

Qualifications

• Current and active Nurse Practitioner license.
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
• Preferred: Prior clinical experience in weight management, obesity treatment, or a closely related medical field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team environment.
