Senior Superintendent

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role involves coordinating all on-site activities, managing subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive management style, exceptional leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes to drive project success and uphold the highest standards of quality.

Duties

• Lead and supervise construction site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate seamless workflow and communication.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Projects and Pro Core to monitor progress and adjust plans proactively.
• Oversee quality control processes by inspecting work, reviewing schematics and blueprints, and ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Manage project budgets by tracking costs, reviewing contracts, and implementing effective cost control measures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure safety standards are maintained in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Review construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to verify accuracy before execution.
• Supervise and mentor site personnel, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure all work aligns with contractual obligations while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising large teams on active sites.
• Extensive knowledge of construction site safety standards including OSHA regulations.
• Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam and other relevant tools.
• Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation.
• Strong understanding of contracts management and the ability to manage multiple subcontractors effectively.
• Hands-on experience with construction site operations including use of heavy equipment.
• Excellent leadership skills with a track record of supervising teams to deliver projects safely on time and within scope.
• Exceptional communication skills for coordinating with clients, vendors, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
• Relevant certifications such as OSHA certification are highly desirable; additional training in construction estimating or pipeline projects is a plus. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95, $115,000.00 per year
