Lead Carpenter

Shop Dog Studios provides home remodeling and custom cabinetry throughout Western New York. We are an established company that is constantly growing and looking to hire an additional lead carpenter. We offer full-time, year-round work and take projects from design through construction to the final punch list.

As a Lead Carpenter, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations at a jobsite to ensure the completion of projects in a safe and efficient manner. You must be able to take a project from start to finish with minimal oversight. On any given day, you could be doing:

· Demolition work

· Minor framing

· Drywall hanging and finishing

· Installing cabinets or millwork

· Tiling and hardwood installation

· Basic plumbing and electrical

· Performing touch-ups (drywall, paint, etc.)

· Putting finishing touches on our projects (Hardware, fixtures, etc.)

· Ensuring clean, safe, and organized job sites

The ideal candidate does not necessarily possess all these skills but has several years of experience in the field and is willing to learn. Candidates are required to have their own hand tools and basic power tools (specialty tools will be provided), reliable transportation, and be willing to travel within a 15-mile radius. We work in high-end homes and are looking for individuals that are honest, hardworking, detail oriented, and can follow directions when working alone or in a team setting.
