Floating Store Manager

We are seeking a Floating Store Manager in the greater Mukilteo area who will be responsible for directing and managing all aspects of store operations.

• Pay: $ $24.00/hour

What you'll be doing:

• Prepare and balance daily reports, make deposits and maintain and balance inventory records on a computerized point-of-sale system. Update trend sheets, master spreadsheets and all daily paperwork
• Oversee merchandising, displays and signage. Ensure all prices on shelves have a price label and match scanned prices
• Participation in loss prevention control.
• Monitor sales and inventory trends to forecast sales and maintain adequate stock levels.
• Lead safety program for employees and customers to ensure a safe workplace
• Maintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Maintain store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, preparing and conducting performance evaluations; and handling employee relations issues with HR.
• Prepare work schedules, establish and implement work procedures and priorities.
• Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

What we're looking for:

• 1 year retail customer service experience is required
• 2 year as a supervisor or manager of a retail store or gas station is preferred
• Superior customer service skills, and demonstrated ability to diffuse heated conversations
• Excellent judgment, ability to make quick decisions when necessary and willingness to obtain leadership approval when necessary.
