Overview
We are seeking a results-driven EV Charging Project Manager to lead our infrastructure expansion in Texas area. You will own the project lifecycle—from initial site walk-throughs and utility load studies to final commissioning and software integration. You will serve as the primary link between property owners, utility providers, and field crews to ensure the seamless deployment of sustainable transportation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
- Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project spend and manage purchase orders.
- Risk Management: Identify bottlenecks to mitigate project delays.
- Permit Coordination: Secure electrical permits and local zoning approvals.
- Construction Coordination: Direct electrical contractors during infrastructure builds.
- Quality Assurance and Testing: Validate charger functionality and code compliance.
- Internal Reporting: Update leadership on milestones and procurement status.
- Client and Stakeholder Communication: Manage site host and utility provider expectations.
- Project Review and Improvement: Analyze completed builds to optimize future workflows.
Requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Proven experience in construction management with a focus on project scheduling and coordination.
- Electrical Infrastructure Knowledge: Deep understanding of 480V 3-phase power, transformer upgrades, and National Electrical Code (NEC) as it pertains to EVSE.
- Utility Coordination Experience: Proven track record of managing interconnection applications and site host agreements with utility providers
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and regulations.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating teams and stakeholders across various levels of the organization. This position offers a dynamic environment for professionals passionate about delivering exceptional construction projects through effective leadership and technical expertise.
Pay: $72, $120,000.00 per year
