Join our growing team as a Warehouse Associate in Houston, Texas! We are looking for hardworking and reliable individuals to contribute to the smooth operation of our distribution center. This role involves a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping them out, and maintaining inventory. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess good physical stamina, and have a strong work ethic. Experience with warehouse equipment like forklifts is a plus, though not always required. We foster a collaborative environment where teamwork is key to success. Understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial. Safety is our top priority; therefore, all employees must follow strict safety guidelines and wear provided PPE at all times. The role involves frequent lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs. This is a dynamic position offering opportunities for growth within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Prepare orders for shipment and load onto delivery vehicles.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding safety .
- Identify and report any damaged or defective goods.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
