We are looking for dedicated Warehouse Workers to join our operations in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in various essential tasks that keep our **logistics** moving smoothly, including loading, unloading, sorting, and stocking of goods. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to **safety**. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and warehouse staging areas.
- Sort and organize incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Place received goods into designated storage locations.
- Assist with order picking and packing processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring pathways are clear for **safety**.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other manual equipment to move materials.
- Follow all company **safety** policies and procedures, including the correct use of **PPE**.
- Perform regular **safety** checks of equipment and work areas.
- Adhere to proper **lifting** techniques to prevent strain and injury.
- Report any damages, discrepancies, or **safety** hazards to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment within the **logistics** chain.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manual labor role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent bending, squatting, reaching, and **lifting** up to 50 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
- Understanding of basic warehouse **safety** protocols.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced setting and adapt to changing priorities.
- Committed to following all **PPE** requirements.
