Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our bustling warehouse in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the movement and organization of goods throughout the facility. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, moving materials to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. This position is key to the efficient functioning of our logistics operations. The Material Handler must be capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including significant lifting, and must operate various material handling equipment safely. A strong commitment to workplace safety, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is non-negotiable. We value a detail-oriented approach and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Experience with pallet jacks, dollies, and potentially forklifts is advantageous. Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
  • Transport materials to and from designated storage areas using appropriate equipment.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock placement.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Support logistics and warehouse staff with various tasks as needed.
  • Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions promptly.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
  • Ability to perform manual labor, including frequent lifting up to 60 lbs.
  • Knowledge of basic warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
