Become a vital part of our e-commerce fulfillment process as a Picker/Packer in Virginia Beach, Virginia. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our logistics team and contribute to ensuring timely and accurate delivery of customer orders. In this role, you will be responsible for locating specific items within the warehouse, accurately picking them according to order lists, and then meticulously packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail will be crucial in verifying order contents and ensuring that items are packaged securely to prevent damage during transit.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack products securely and efficiently using appropriate packaging materials.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform manual lifting of items, with an average lifting capacity of up to 50 pounds.
- Contribute to inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals within our logistics operations.
This position requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and a strong commitment to accuracy. Previous experience in a picking or packing role is a plus.
