We are seeking motivated Warehouse Workers to join our team in Washington, D.C. This position is crucial for the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, involving a range of tasks such as receiving and storing inventory, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. A strong commitment to workplace Safety is essential, and all employees are expected to adhere to established safety protocols and procedures at all times. This role requires an individual who can perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and regular Lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Familiarity with general warehouse operations and Logistics is a plus. We provide necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety shoes and gloves, and expect all team members to use them diligently to ensure their safety and the safety of others. Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
- Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Follow all company Safety rules and procedures.
- Wear assigned PPE at all times in designated areas.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse Logistics is helpful.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to adhere to all Safety regulations and wear required PPE .
