About
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Pickers/Packers to join our high-volume warehouse in Atlanta, Georgia. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products from inventory and preparing them for shipment. This involves using pick lists or RF scanners to locate items, ensuring the correct quantity and product code, and then carefully packing each order to meet our quality standards. You will also be responsible for affixing shipping labels and ensuring packages are ready for carrier pick-up. This position requires physical stamina, as it involves consistent Lifting of items, often weighing up to 50 lbs, and standing for extended periods. Safety is our utmost priority, so adherence to all warehouse safety regulations and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are mandatory. You will be part of a fast-paced logistics environment, working collaboratively with your team to meet daily order fulfillment goals. Accuracy and speed are key to ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly and correctly. Your role is vital to the success of our supply chain operations. We value efficiency and a strong work ethic in our logistics team.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order requirements.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, using appropriate packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Perform regular Lifting tasks, handling packages up to 50 lbs.
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing productivity targets.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Participate in inventory management activities such as cycle counts.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Contribute to the efficient flow of goods within the logistics network.
