We are hiring a proactive Warehouse Worker for our facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is fundamental to our daily operations, involving a range of tasks to ensure the efficient handling and processing of goods. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically fit, and committed to maintaining a high standard of operational efficiency and workplace safety . Responsibilities:
- Receive and process warehouse stock items, including unloading, labeling, and storing.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to specifications.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct packaging and documentation.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials onto or from trucks and other vehicles.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, free from hazards.
- Follow all company procedures and safety guidelines, including the use of PPE .
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and ensure smooth logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar physical labor role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including constant standing, bending, stooping, and frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Familiarity with logistics concepts is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Willingness to follow all safety rules and wear required PPE .
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
