General Manager
ยท Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or management position
* \*A combination of relevant work experience and/or education sufficient to perform the duties of the job may substitute to meet the total years required on a year-for-year basis
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in positions of increased responsibility involved with successful machining and welding, to include demonstrated knowledge of oil field, drilling, heavy equipment, assembly/disassembly, and mechanical applications.
* Valid Driver's License and driving record free of violations for company to secure automobile insurance for employees
* Strong leadership presence and skills
* Advanced level of proficiency in HAZMAT, SDS and incident investigations
* Ability to solve problems accurately and efficiently
* Proven to successfully mentor and coach
* Thorough understanding of equipment design, fabrication, and installation practices
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Word, Office, Excell, Sage/Quickbooks
* Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities
* Management, administrative and organizational skills
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and other departments
* Ability to consider safety in all decisions
* This position is a leadership and technical role, responsible for designing, planning, supervising, and executing all projects and engineering activities
* Ensure proper technical competency, quality assurance, and inspection of completed parts
* Establish clear performance expectations with direct reports and communication to employees
* Conduct routine coaching and mentoring sessions with direct reports to review performance and ensure progress on the development plans
* Hold regular safety briefings to ensure safety and efficiency are met
* Provide leadership at facilities, project sites, and job locations during project planning and execution
* MUST supports company vision and mission
* Ensure changes and improvements are compatible into all designs and implement plans in a timely manner
* Actively participate in full cycle scoping, preliminary designing, cost estimating, quoting, request for proposals, evaluation of bid packages, and evaluation of engineering and construction projects
* Support Operations Managers in ensuring safe and effective operations on mobile jobs
* *Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings*
