divh2Senior Network Engineer/h2pGalapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the Senior Network Engineer position. The Senior Network Engineer will provide advanced engineering, design, implementation, and support for Department of Defense (DoD) enterprise networks across classified and unclassified environments. This role requires expertise in network architecture, security compliance, and operational support of mission-critical systems. The engineer will collaborate with program managers, system administrators, cybersecurity teams, and government stakeholders to ensure resilient, secure, and compliant network operations. The Senior Network Engineer will perform network troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimization using enterprise tools. The ideal candidate will provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers and administrators./ppResponsibilities:/pulliActive TS/SCI Clearance/lili8+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in DoD environments, with proven expertise in one or more of the MDoDS functional areas of sustainment, maintenance, and life cycle support/liliEnsure compliance with DoD security requirements, including DISA STIGs, RMF, and ATO processes/liliHands-on experience with enterprise-class routing and switching technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.)/liliDesign, configure, implement, and maintain DoD network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, VoIP, wireless, and cloud-based environments)/liliStrong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VoIP, MPLS, VLANs, firewalls, and network security protocols/liliSupport classified and unclassified environments (NIPRNET, SIPRNET, JWICS, or other mission systems)/liliFamiliarity with classified networks (e.g., NIPRNET, SIPRNET, JWICS) and cross-domain solutions/liliExperience with DoD cybersecurity and compliance frameworks (RMF, NIST SP 800-53, DISA STIGs, IAVM compliance)/liliKnowledge of network monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Splunk, Wireshark, ACAS)/liliExperience supporting network integration projects and upgrades in operational DoD environments/liliLead integration projects, system migrations, and technology upgrades/liliDocument network configurations, diagrams, and technical procedures for accreditation and operational continuity/liliStrong written and verbal communication skills for preparing documentation and interfacing with stakeholders/li/ulpEducation / Certifications:/pulliBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field/liliSecurity+ CE, CASP+, CISSP, or equivalent/liliCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)/li/ulpBenefits:/pulliMedical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance/liliFlexible Spending Accounts/lili401(k)/liliPTO/liliPaid Parental leave/liliTuition reimbursement/liliPaid federal holidays/li/ulpSecurity Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
