Responsibilities
Perform manual or exploratory testing as required, to identify defects and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Document defects, collaborate with development teams for resolutions, and advocate for continuous product improvement.
Validate and scrutinise requirements to identify potential gaps, edge cases and level of testability of proposed solutions.
Ability to work with or previous experience of Content Management System (CMS).
Create supporting test documentation for a project with support from others - e.g. Test Plans, Test Summary Reports etc.
Contribute to the planning and prioritisation of testing on a project.
Can estimate testing tasks within a project.
Proficiency in assessing and highlighting risk in order to mitigate issues.
Ownership of QA processes and best practice.
Outside IR35
Day rate: £250 - £350 per day
Requirements Expert knowledge in
Ability to quickly understand a digital product, its features and functionality.
Developing and executing test scenarios for web or mobile applications.
Understanding and analysing requirements.
Defect diagnosis, reporting and tracking.
Maintaining knowledge of core systems and processes.
Industry standard testing process and best practices, with ISTQB foundation certification.
Competent with
Software testing techniques, testing tools, incident/defect tracking systems and other test-support tools.
Development methodologies such as Agile / Waterfall.
API understanding, and experience with tools such as Charles Proxy and Postman.
UI automated testing tools (e.g. Cypress, Maestro).
JIRA / Confluence.
