Join our team as an Order Picker in Charlotte, North Carolina! We are looking for motivated individuals to accurately and efficiently pick customer orders in a busy warehouse environment. Your primary responsibility will be to locate and retrieve specific items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets. This involves navigating the warehouse, identifying products, and ensuring the correct quantity and type of items are selected. Accuracy and speed are essential to meet customer demands and maintain our high standards of service. You will work closely with the packing and shipping departments to ensure orders are processed quickly and correctly. A strong attention to detail is required to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. This role is fundamental to our overall logistics operation and requires dedication and a proactive approach. Understanding warehouse layouts and inventory systems is beneficial. We emphasize a culture of safety, and all employees are required to follow established guidelines and wear provided PPE . Frequent lifting of items weighing up to 40 lbs is expected. This is an excellent entry-level position within the logistics field.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order sheets.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Operate scanning equipment and update inventory records.
- Transport picked items to the packing and shipping stations.
