Job Summary:
Our growing logistics company in Miami, Florida is looking for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for overseeing stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and investigating inventory discrepancies. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and for providing accurate data to support our supply chain management. Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock levels.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system records and physical counts.
  • Receive, identify, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
  • Process outgoing inventory, ensuring correct quantities and items are picked and packed.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report low stock items to management for reordering.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory to maximize space and minimize damage.
  • Adhere to all **safety** guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of **PPE**.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed, following **lifting** safety protocols.
  • Assist with the preparation of inventory reports and analyses.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk, Stock Clerk, or in a similar inventory management role.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including **lifting** up to 40 pounds regularly.
  • Familiarity with **logistics** and warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of **safety** procedures in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
