Join our dynamic logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida as an Order Picker! We are seeking motivated individuals to accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders. Your primary responsibility will be to locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected for shipment. This role is crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our logistics network. The Order Picker will use handheld scanners and follow digital pick lists, requiring a good understanding of warehouse layouts. Safety is our top priority, so strict adherence to all safety procedures and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential. This position requires significant walking, standing, bending, and lifting of items up to 50 lbs. We are looking for reliable candidates with excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus, but we offer training for enthusiastic individuals. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using scanning equipment.
- Verify product information and quantities before fulfilling orders.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Meet productivity goals while maintaining accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations and logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is beneficial.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
