Join our dynamic shipping department in Austin, Texas, as a Shipping Clerk. We are seeking an organized and efficient individual to manage the preparation and dispatch of all outgoing shipments. This role is key to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers. Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and document all outbound shipments.
- Verify order details against packed goods, ensuring completeness and correctness.
- Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for efficient pickup and delivery.
- Update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) with shipping information.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Perform tasks requiring lifting and moving of packages.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and WMS is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong emphasis on workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
