About
Join our dynamic warehouse team in Baltimore, Maryland as a Material Handler! We are looking for an energetic and reliable individual to assist in the movement and organization of goods within our facility. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that materials are efficiently handled from arrival to dispatch. You will work closely with other team members to maintain an orderly workflow and contribute to overall productivity. A strong commitment to Safety and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials.
- Move materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Assist with inventory control, including counting and verifying stock.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Inspect materials for damage and report any issues.
- Adhere to all company policies, especially regarding Safety and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Pack and prepare materials for shipment.
- Perform tasks that may involve significant Lifting and physical exertion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment.
- Strong physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and consistent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear required PPE at all times.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented logistics environment.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
