Exciting opportunity for an Order Picker in Austin, Texas! Our logistics company is seeking energetic individuals to join our warehouse team. You will be responsible for accurately picking products based on customer orders, ensuring that items are correctly identified and retrieved. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet or exceed daily productivity and accuracy targets for order picking.
- Report any stock discrepancies or issues to a supervisor promptly.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to the overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an order picking or warehouse role is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Must be able to perform frequent Lifting of up to 45 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for the entire shift.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures is desirable.
