Responsibilities:
- Accurately select items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Utilize RF scanners or other technology to track picked items and inventory levels.
- Ensure that picked items match order specifications precisely.
- Handle products carefully to prevent damage during the picking process.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work station and warehouse environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies, including wearing required PPE.
- Meet established picking speed and accuracy targets.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or product damage to a supervisor.
- Participate in periodic inventory cycle counts.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to achieve team goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical capacity to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended durations.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Readiness to follow safety instructions and wear PPE diligently.
- Basic mathematical skills for inventory tasks.
- Dependable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility.
