Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Material Handler to join our Austin, Texas facility. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. Your primary duties will involve loading and unloading trucks, operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensuring materials are stored correctly and accessible. You will play a vital part in maintaining the smooth flow of our logistics operations, ensuring that inventory is accurately managed and readily available for order fulfillment. We emphasize a culture of safety, and all employees are expected to strictly adhere to safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE. Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials.
  • Store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
  • Conduct routine checks on equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock checks.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, free from hazards.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Coordinate with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient material flow.
  • Perform general labor tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
  • Valid forklift operator certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 70 lbs.
  • Strong knowledge of material handling equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
  • Excellent physical condition and manual dexterity.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Familiarity with logistics and inventory management systems.
