*Job Summary*
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to join our evening staff team - 3pm-11:30 pm. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients while assisting with daily living activities and basic medical care.
*Responsibilities*
* Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
* Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
* Provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff.
* Assist with mobility and transportation of patients using equipment like Hoyer lifts.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
* Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and concerns.
* Support patients with memory care, Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and other specialized needs as required.
* Participate in training programs to enhance skills related to caregiving and patient service.
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred (hospital experience, long-term care experience, assisted living).
* Familiarity with medical terminology, basic life support (BLS), and patient documentation practices.
* Knowledge of EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner is a plus.
* Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in hospice care is advantageous.
* Understanding of critical care environments (ICU experience) or emergency medicine is beneficial.
* Ability to perform phlebotomy tasks and administer medications as directed by nursing staff.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.80 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

Experience:
* CNA: 1 year (Preferred)
