We are seeking a professional and reliable Bartender to join our team and uphold the Aiello's standard of hospitality.

Position Summary

The Bartender plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest service by preparing beverages, maintaining an orderly bar environment, and upholding all restaurant policies and NYS alcohol regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to creating a positive experience for every guest who visits our bar or dining room.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, courteous, and prompt service to all guests
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following Aiello's recipes and presentation standards
• Maintain full knowledge of bar menu, seasonal drink features, specialty cocktails, and restaurant promotions
• Manage guest tabs, process payments accurately, and operate the POS system with precision
• Verify valid identification for alcohol service per New York State guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stock levels in the bar area throughout each shift
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and supplies as needed
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service procedures
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when appropriate
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, inventory checks, and supply management
• Represent Aiello's with professionalism, consistency, and respect for all guests and employees

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior bartending experience in a restaurant or bar setting preferred
• Strong customer service, multitasking, and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional demeanor and commitment to a high standard of service
• Must be 18 years of age or older to serve alcohol (per NYS law)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Reliability and punctuality are essential
