Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fine dining or casual restaurant setting. Prior experience with POS systems and food handling is preferred, along with a strong focus on hospitality and guest services.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
• Manage cash handling transactions accurately and efficiently
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and wine or beverage pairings to assist guests effectively

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Experience in upselling, guest relations, and customer service excellence is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices required
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest engagement
• Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks required
• Prior experience in serving, bussing, host/host roles, or food industry positions will be advantageous
