- Position is 100% onsite at TA-50/55. Remote or hybrid work is not permitted.

Impact

The selected candidate will support multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical and operational excellence on mission-critical projects. By contributing to planning, execution, and documentation activities, this role helps ensure readiness, safety, and performance across some of the most sensitive and important projects in the nation.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Support project execution from initiation through closeout, ensuring compliance with technical, safety, and schedule requirements.
- Assist in defining scope, deliverables, and milestones; track progress and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Develop technical documents, reports, and visuals for project reviews and assessments.
- Create and maintain engineering drawings, spatial analyses, and 3D models.
- Monitor and report project risks, metrics, and corrective actions.
- Facilitate team meetings, document action items, and provide status updates.
- Ensure compliance with DOE safety, security, and quality requirements in radiological environments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, or related engineering field
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience (including internships or research) in technical environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Q Clearance
Desired Skills
- Experience supporting DOE, NNSA, or NRC programs
- Working knowledge of DOE safety, radiological, and security regulations
- Familiarity with project tracking tools and engineering documentation processes
- Passed the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam
- Hands-on experience with 2D/3D technical modeling or system analyses
- Demonstrated team collaboration on multidisciplinary projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor preferred but not a hard requirement
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field is preferred, but candidates with at least 10 years of directly relevant experience without a degree may be considered
