Job Summary

45Press is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to serve as a primary liaison between internal 45Press staff and government clients, including stakeholders supporting the Executive Office of the President (EOP) and other federal entities. This role is critical to ensuring clear communication, project visibility, and on-time delivery across technical and non-technical teams. Former Congressional (Hill) staffers are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact between 45Press internal teams and government clients
  • Coordinate project activities, timelines, deliverables, and approvals
  • Translate government requirements into clear tasks for technical teams
  • Track project progress, risks, and dependencies using JIRA and project management tools
  • Prepare agendas, meeting notes, action items, and status reports
  • Facilitate recurring client meetings, stand-ups, and reviews
  • Ensure projects align with contract requirements, scope, and deadlines
  • Support change management, documentation, and compliance efforts
  • Assist leadership with reporting, metrics, and project audits

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Demonstrated experience in project coordination or project management
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA and related project management tools (Confluence, Asana, Monday, Trello, etc.)
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and documentation skills
  • Working knowledge of WordPress and web-based projects
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Professional experience supporting government, public sector, or regulated clients

Security & Eligibility Requirements (Mandatory)

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to pass and maintain a Public Trust Level 4 background investigation, including:
  • Credit check
  • Criminal background check
  • Drug screening
  • Ability to work on Executive Office of the President (EOP) and other federal government programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Former Congressional or Hill staff experience
  • Experience working with federal contracts, SOWs, or RFP-driven projects
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies
  • Experience supporting digital services, CMS, or web development teams
  • Local to Washington, DC (strongly preferred)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $42, $52,000.00 per year
