Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety standards
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment
• Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently and optimize seating arrangements
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food is prepared correctly and served promptly, demonstrating strong food industry knowledge and culinary experience

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude
• Experience with serving, bussing, host/host duties, and basic math for transactions and order accuracy

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 25 per week
