Waitstaff/Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with fine dining, hospitality, and food safety standards is preferred. This role involves delivering outstanding guest service, managing orders accurately, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS or cashiering systems
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns professionally
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Support host/host duties as needed during busy periods

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relations
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to maximize sales opportunities
• Good understanding of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols in the food industry
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
• Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, and hospitality operations is highly desirable
• Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour
