Tile Installer

Responsibilities:

• Install a variety of materials including porcelain, ceramic, glass, and natural stone tile.
• Prepare surfaces for installation (e.g., backer board, mortar beds, waterproofing, leveling).
• Apply waterproofing systems in wet areas such as showers, steam rooms, and balconies.
• Lay out tile patterns and cuts with precision according to project specifications.
• Install heated flooring systems where required.
• Grout, seal, and finish installations to a high professional standard.
• Collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to ensure job site efficiency and quality control.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in professional tile installation (residential preferred).
• Strong knowledge of materials, setting techniques, and installation tools.
• Experience with waterproofing systems (e.g., Schluter, LATICRETE, Wedi, etc.).
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and layout plans.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift materials and perform labor as required.

Preferred Skills (a plus, but not required):

• Experience with heated flooring systems (e.g., Ditra Heat, Nuheat).
• Experience in exterior stone or façade applications.
• General remodeling skills (drywall, framing, or painting).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills.
