Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
• Support kitchen staff by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and assisting with basic food preparation when needed
• Provide exceptional guest relations by responding promptly to inquiries or concerns, ensuring a memorable dining experience
• Assist with opening or closing duties such as setting up tables, cleaning workstations, and restocking supplies

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, ideally with fine dining or nightclub exposure
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning about food preparation is valued
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact confidently with guests
