CNC Mill Operator

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Mill Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating 3 to 5 axis machines and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce precision parts that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise will contribute directly to the efficiency and excellence of our manufacturing processes, ensuring that we deliver top-tier products to our clients. Duties

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines, including CNC lathes and machining centers, ensuring accurate production according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings.
• Interpret complex blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical specifications to ensure parts meet exact dimensions and quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting to maintain optimal performance of CNC equipment.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other tools to verify dimensions and ensure quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
• Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment within the factory or warehouse environment.
• Conduct tooling changes, setup adjustments, and program modifications as needed for different jobs or production runs.
• Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, fabrication projects, or packaging processes to ensure seamless workflow.
• Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, machine logs, inspection reports, and quality control records.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols related to machining operations, welding procedures (if applicable), and factory safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar machining equipment within a manufacturing facility.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints with GD&T specifications accurately.
• Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of tooling, fabrication techniques, welding (preferred but not required), and materials handling equipment like forklifts.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc., for quality assurance purposes.
• Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations related to machining tolerances, and process adjustments.
• Factory or manufacturing experience demonstrating familiarity with assembly lines, stamping presses, press brake machines, or flexo presses is advantageous.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail and quality standards. Pay: $ $30.01 per hour
