Duties
Assist lead plumbers with the installation of piping, fixtures, and related plumbing components on commercial or residential construction sites. Prepare work areas by cleaning and organizing tools, materials, and workspaces to ensure safety and efficiency. Use hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, screwdrivers, and pliers to support plumbing tasks. Operate power tools including drills and pipe threading machines under supervision. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Help with measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling pipes according to specifications. Support welding tasks when necessary for pipe connections or repairs. Assist with remodeling or maintenance projects by performing basic carpentry or maintenance person tasks as directed. Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites, including proper use of personal protective equipment. Support the team in troubleshooting mechanical issues related to plumbing systems and assist with field service tasks as needed. Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and productivity throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements
Prior construction site experience is preferred but not mandatory. Basic knowledge of construction practices, plumbing systems, and mechanical concepts is a plus. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment is highly desirable. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in learning plumbing installation techniques. Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to piping layouts. Experience in carpentry or remodeling projects can be advantageous. Willingness to follow safety guidelines rigorously on all job sites. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills on the job.
