Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, with the ability to handle various delivery tasks using different types of vehicles and equipment. The Driver will play a key role in maintaining our company's reputation for dependable service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods across designated routes
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper handling of heavy items
• Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as loading, unloading, and organizing inventory when necessary
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each trip
• Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving, and vehicle operation

Experience

• Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with courier or route driving roles
• Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or vehicles with manual transmissions is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with heavy lifting and moving equipment
• Valid driver's license required; clean driving record preferred
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving, and vehicle operation is essential

Pay: $ $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45.0 – 65.0 per week
