Job Description

We are seeking an experienced
Java Backend Developer
with strong hands-on expertise in building high-performance, scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services, multithreading, and modern design practices. Prior
American Express (AMEX)
project experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using
  Java
  ,
  Spring
  , and
  Spring Boot
• Build and optimize
  REST APIs
  with high performance and reliability
• Work with
  multithreading
  ,
  concurrency
  , and
  RX
  frameworks
• Apply
  design patterns
  and best coding practices to deliver scalable solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for solution design and integration
• Contribute to cloud-ready and DevOps-friendly architectures
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve overall system stability

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years
  of strong backend Java development experience
• Expertise in
  Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, RX, and multithreading
• Strong knowledge of
  design patterns
  and scalable system design
• Experience with
  scaling, cloud environments, CI/CD, and DevOps
• AMEX experience
  is a major plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
