Bread Route Delivery Driver

Average start time of work day: 3:30am (finish as soon as you are done with the route each day)
Work days for this route are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and a short day on Saturday .
Job requires loading truck each morning and stocking at stores/restaurant along route. This is NOT a job where you JUST drive and deliver to stores. It requires stocking grocery stores with product.
Valid Drivers license required with clean driving record to drive box truck, no CDL required.

Responsibilities:
- Able to Safely operate a box Step Van or box truck (good driving record)
- Load and unload bread using dollies and hand truck
- Perform heavy lifting as required
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods (start time 3:30am)
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients

-Able to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Also able to work on holidays if they fall on a work day except for Christmas and Thanksgiving

Skills:
- Experience driving a step van or box truck
- Ability to push or pull large stack and down stack them as needed
- Ability to load and unload goods safely and efficiently
-Ability to learn and regularly use a handheld computer device
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving of materials
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members
- Delivery experience a plus
