A top-tier
General Contractor
is seeking an experienced
Superintendent
(or
Senior Superintendent
) to lead the field execution of high-profile
commercial construction projects
in the
Medical, Education, Retail, and Commercial
sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct day-to-day field operations, including subcontractor coordination, site safety, and quality control.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards (OSHA), and quality expectations.
• Conduct daily site meetings, inspections, and progress reporting.
• Proactively identify and resolve field issues; serve as the primary leader on-site.
• Enforce safety protocols and lead weekly toolbox talks and inspections.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of field leadership experience in commercial construction.
• Strong experience with complex vertical projects in Medical, Education (K-12), Retail, or Commercial Office.
• Candidates with only multifamily experience (under 10 stories) will not be considered.
• Track record of delivering projects over $20M on schedule and within budget.
• Proficient with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
