Summary

We are seeking an experienced SCCM System Engineer with strong expertise in software packaging, deployment, CADD application support, and ProjectWise administration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in complex enterprise environments and must demonstrate deep technical knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesSCCM / MECM Engineering

  • Design, implement, and maintain SCCM/MECM infrastructure for enterprise environments.
  • Develop and manage software applications, packages, task sequences, and OS images.
  • Perform patching, compliance reporting, agent health monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Automate operational tasks through PowerShell scripting.
  • Document system configurations, deployment processes, and operational procedures.

Software Packaging & Deployment

  • Create software installation packages for SCCM , with a strong emphasis on Bentley products.
  • Download and prepare vendor software for packaging.
  • Perform test installations of out-of-box (OOB) applications.
  • Determine the appropriate installation method (batch, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Develop installation scripts using established standards and best practices.
  • Test and validate completed packages to ensure successful deployment.
  • Deliver finalized packages to the SCCM team for Software Center and user acceptance testing.

Testing Coordination & Support

  • Collaborate with technical leads, business users, and project managers during software package testing.
  • Work closely with testers to refine the user experience and deployment success.
  • Address and resolve issues or questions arising during testing cycles.

Technical Troubleshooting & Support

  • Resolve or assist with cross-application and multi-system technical issues.
  • Support end-user installation and deployment problems.
  • Manage and update Active Directory groups related to CADD Support.
  • Research hardware solutions and provide recommendations for procurement.

General IT Experience Required

  • Windows Desktop OS (installation, configuration, troubleshooting)
  • Windows Server Administration
  • Active Directory (user management, group policies, permissions)
  • Scripting (PowerShell preferred)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (advanced proficiency)

Communication & Team Collaboration

  • Provide clear, accurate, and timely status updates.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
  • Share application-specific knowledge across technical groups.

Quality, Documentation & Process Adherence

  • Complete assigned tasks within estimated timelines.
  • Follow organizational quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and track issues, risks, and action items.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging tools, and applicable improvements.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues impacting technical teams.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $ $61.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
