Front Desk Agent

About the Role

We are seeking friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Front Desk Agents to join our guest service team at the Cambria Hotel Richardson. As the face of our hotel, you'll be the first and last point of contact for our guests, delivering exceptional service with a warm, welcoming attitude. Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile upon arrival and departure; provide a warm, genuine welcome and farewell
• Efficiently check guests in and out using the Choice Platform
• Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations
• Respond promptly to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints; resolve issues with empathy and professionalism
• Process payments, post charges, and manage cash drawer accurately
• Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, dining, transportation, and events in the Richardson/Dallas area
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Upsell room types, packages, and hotel services when appropriate
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area
• Follow all safety, security, and brand standards

Requirements

• Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience strongly preferred (1+ years ideal)
• Proficiency with hotel property management systems (Choice experience a plus)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Flexible availability – must be able to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework a plus
• Basic math and computer skills
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
• Authorization to work in the United States
