Bookkeeper (Full-Time, In-Person)
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Employer: First Coast Metalworks
We're hiring a full-time Bookkeeper to support our growing group of companies. This role will manage day-to-day financial responsibilities across multiple entities, including First Coast Metalworks, Jacksonville Innovation Hub, Tanager Holdings, and 3600 Beachwood LLC, as well as limited personal financial record-keeping for the founder.
The ideal candidate is dependable, highly organized, and experienced in GAAP standards, with the ability to support multiple business operations under one umbrella.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books across multiple entities using GAAP standards
- Process AP/AR, vendor bills, invoicing, and payments
- Prepare financial reports and reconcile accounts regularly
- Categorize expenses and manage monthly closing processes
- Maintain accurate inventory accounting records of raw goods and finished inventory
- Support payroll processing and employee onboarding documentation
- Track membership and tenant billing for the Jacksonville Innovation Hub
- Maintain organized records for property income/expenses (3600 Beachwood LLC)
- Log and manage limited personal financial categorization for the founder
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with financial policies
- Manage and log time spent across each entity for cost allocation
Required Qualifications
- Minimum
5 years bookkeeping/accounting experience - Strong knowledge of
GAAP accounting standards - Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (or similar accounting software) and Excel
- Experience managing financials for multiple projects or entities
- Ability to
work in-person, full-time in Jacksonville, FL - High attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation
- Professional discretion with sensitive financial information
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
- Experience with manufacturing, coworking/membership billing, or real estate bookkeeping
- Familiarity with intercompany billing and cost allocations
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time, in-person
- Compensation: $50,000–$65,000 annually
