Construction Superintendent

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and manage on-site personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure understanding of the scope of work.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Monitor project progress and report on any issues or delays, implementing solutions as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of work performed to maintain quality control standards.
• Utilize construction management software such as Prolog and Primavera for project tracking and reporting.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Read and interpret blueprints to guide construction processes effectively.

Skills

• Proficient in OSHA safety standards and regulations.
• Experience with construction management software, particularly Primavera and Prolog.
• Strong understanding of quality control processes in construction.
• Proven ability in budgeting for construction projects.
• Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on team leadership.
• Familiarity with pipeline construction practices is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, contractors, and team members.
