Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in medical terminology and aseptic techniques. The Radiologic Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including strong skills with a C-Arm and scans, while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
  • Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to position patients correctly for optimal imaging results.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure it is functioning properly; report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow aseptic techniques to minimize the risk of infection during procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient information accurately in accordance with medical standards and regulations.
  • Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Requirements

  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist from an accredited program.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to diagnostic evaluation and nuclear medicine.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge necessary for effective imaging.
  • Strong knowledge and skill with use of a C-Arm
  • Ability to perform scans with precision and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in healthcare.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training related to new technologies and techniques in radiology.
