We are seeking a polished, service-driven Manager / Supervisor who brings leadership, consistency, and an elevated sense of hospitality to the front-of-house team.
Position Overview
The Manager / Supervisor oversees daily front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, smooth team coordination, and a consistently warm, upscale environment. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in boutique hospitality, understands service flow, and can guide a team with professionalism, clarity, and calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Service Quality
- Maintain an elevated, warm, boutique service standard during café hours and jazz-night events.
- Greet guests, resolve concerns professionally, and ensure every guest leaves happy.
- Support servers with table touchpoints, pacing, and presentation expectations.
- Ensure ambiance standards (lighting, music, cleanliness, décor) are consistently met.
Team Leadership & Training
- Supervise and support front-of-house staff during all operating hours.
- Coach new hires on guest interaction, service standards, and menu knowledge.
- Provide ongoing training for upselling, communication, and hospitality finesse.
- Lead pre-shift meetings to set expectations and communicate priorities.
Operational Oversight
- Oversee daily opening and closing procedures for the front-of-house.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and food-handling standards.
- Manage cash handling, tip distribution, and POS accuracy.
- Support inventory checks for FOH supplies, coffee bar items, and service tools.
- Coordinate with kitchen and chocolate production teams for smooth service flow.
Event Support
- Assist with setup and service flow for live jazz nights, private events, and tasting menus.
- Ensure FOH team maintains high standards throughout busy service transitions.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a supervisor, shift lead, or manager in a restaurant, café, or hospitality venue.
- Strong communication, poise, and professionalism in guest-facing environments.
- Experience handling busy service periods with calm, control, and positivity.
- Ability to lead diverse teams with fairness, clarity, and accountability.
- Skilled in POS systems, cash handling, and problem-solving.
- A passion for upscale hospitality, desserts, coffee, wine, and guest delight.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and event nights.

- Warm, confident, polished presence.
- Excellent emotional intelligence and conflict resolution ability.
- Strong attention to detail in cleanliness, presentation, and ambiance.
- Self-motivated leader who upholds standards without micromanagement.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
