Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in creating a welcoming atmosphere, delivering exceptional customer service, and efficiently managing bar operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in various settings, including fine dining establishments, nightclubs, and banquet events. A strong background in food and beverage service, along with proficiency in POS systems, is essential to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, ensuring a memorable experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy, including basic math calculations for transactions.
• Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure seamless service during shifts.
• Take orders for food and beverages at nightclubs, restaurants, or banquet events, ensuring timely delivery.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and monitor guest consumption to promote safety.
• Assist in catering events or special functions by serving drinks and managing bar setup.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a lively yet professional environment conducive to guest enjoyment.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, banquet settings, or food industry environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations.
• Familiarity with brewing processes or hospitality industry best practices is a plus.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and other team members seamlessly.
