Job Summary

Duties
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping & cutting chicken, fish and lamb.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards.
- Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and assisting chefs during meal assembly.
- Handle food items carefully, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation to prevent spoilage.
- Help with dishwashing, utensil cleaning, and waste disposal to keep the kitchen organized and hygienic.
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, knife skills, and sanitation procedures.
- Support catering events or large meal services by setting up stations and assisting with serving as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and knife skills is advantageous.
- Familiarity with food preparation methods and food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Experience in the food industry or culinary settings demonstrates a strong foundation for success in this role.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior kitchen experience or exposure to food handling regulations is a plus but not mandatory.
