CNC Programmer/Machinist

Location: North Shore, MA

Schedule: Full-Time

Pay Range: $28–$36/hr (DOE)

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist to join a growing precision manufacturing team on the North Shore. This role supports production by programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts for aerospace, medical, and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code) for mills and/or lathes
• Set up machines, select tooling, and run first-piece inspections
• Operate CNC machinery to produce components to tight tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T
• Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments as needed
• Maintain equipment and follow shop safety standards

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC machining experience (mills, lathes, or both)
• Strong G-code programming or CAM software experience (Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.)
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Experience with tight-tolerance aerospace/medical parts a plus
